Headteacher’s Welcome

 

Welcome to Roman Way First School.  We are a small community school in the centre of Winyates West, near to Winyates East and Winyates Green in Redditch.

 

We are a thriving, happy school with friendly, enthusiastic staff who believe learning should be fun.  We have high expectations and ensure children make the best progress possible in all aspects of their learning, as well as in their personal and social development.

 

We believe that each child brings a unique personality and has a special contribution to make to the life of our school.

 

We aim that on leaving Roman Way the children will have acquired the skills which will enable them to show respect and have consideration for others, develop lively enquiring minds and the knowledge which will allow them to build on their future academic potential.
